Removalists Duffys Forest

Duffys Forest moves are the purest form of what we do. A couple of hundred addresses, nearly every one of them acreage, and the house is routinely the smallest part of the job. When we quote out here we're counting paddock sheds, stables, studios and machinery bays, and we're asking about the drive before anything else.

Horse properties, handled honestly

Plenty of Duffys Forest properties run horses, and a horse property move splits cleanly in two. Your horse transport people move the animals. We move everything else: the tack room crated so leather stays dry and shaped, the float gear, the feed bins, the rail-and-post spares, the jump wings stacked flat.

We'll happily coordinate our day around the float's schedule so the gear lands before the horses do. What we won't do is pretend to be something we're not, if anyone offers to throw the horse in with the furniture, keep looking.

  • Tack and rugs crated, saddles supported, bridles bagged and labelled
  • Machinery bays emptied on wheels and ramps, not backs
  • Fuel, gas and open chemicals planned out before pack day, the shed guide covers what can't ride

The access questions we ask first

Long drives out here are the rule, not the exception, and a fair few are gravel with a gate or two between the road and the house. None of it is a problem, all of it is planning: where the truck stands, whether we shuttle with a ute leg, how far the carry runs from the furthest shed. That thinking is priced into the crew before the day, which is the whole difference between a quote that holds and a day that blows out.

If you want the read before you talk to anyone, walk your block on the Property Walk, it's built for exactly these properties.

The house is two bedrooms. The property is a stable, a hay shed, a workshop and a two-kilometre round trip to the gate. The shape of a normal move out here

Tell us about the block, we'll call you back

Send the form with whatever you know so far, even if it's just a suburb and a rough date. We phone back, talk through the property, and if it needs a walk-through we come and count the sheds with you. No phone queue, no pressure, no obligation.
